The Executive Committee (EC) of the Canberra Islamic Centre (CIC) is committed to maintaining transparency and keeping members informed about CIC’s financial position, strategic directions, and ongoing operational activities.

As part of this commitment, we publish the CIC’s annual audited financial reports on the website and will also now provide monthly-to-date financial summaries. This ensures members have access to up-to-date financial information.

Your donations to CIC contribute to maintaining the CIC infrastructure, including the Sabah Al Ahmed Masjid, the multipurpose hall, the library, and the 1.6 hectares of grounds, which all benefit the Canberra Muslim and wider community. These contributions are relied upon even more as our facilities require considerable ongoing maintenance and repair. 

Zakat donations are also collected and transferred to authorised registered charities, both locally based and international, to support charitable and humanitarian causes.

We encourage you to contribute generously to CIC to ensure it continues to provide the much-needed services within our community.
