Healthy Ramadan
On 22 February 2025, the Canberra Islamic Centre (CIC) in collaboration with the Australian Islamic Medical Association (AIMA) hosted a “Healthy Ramadan” session at the CIC hall. Imam Adam Konda spoke about the spiritual benefits of fasting and its health aspects from an Islamic perspective.
The event featured insightful presentations from Dr. Zain Qadri, Dr. Hasibul Haque, Dr. Hasib Ahmadzai, Dr. Marrwah Ahmadzai, and Miss Zeenia Gul. These presentations offered valuable information on the benefits of Ramadan, the health impacts of fasting, and dietary recommendations. Viewing these presentations is highly recommended for anyone planning to fast during Ramadan. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to AIMA for their contributions to this event, especially Br. Danish Ahmad for the collaboration, Dr. Shahroz Khan for his role as Master of Ceremonies (MC) and Dr Imran Ali AIMA ACT Secretary for the coordination.
