RAMADAN 2026 – COMMUNITY IFTAR FACILITY HIRE
The holy month of Ramadan 2026 is expected to commence on Monday, 16 February and conclude on Wednesday, 18 March 2026.
In preparation for this blessed month, the Canberra Islamic Centre (CIC) is pleased to advise embassies of the available arrangements for hosting community iftar events at our premises.
The information below outlines a streamlined booking and hire process.

| Hire the kitchen, main hall and dining area + cleaning | $3,750 |
Note: $750 is a cleaning bond and will be refunded after the event once cleaning has been confirmed.

What CIC Will Provide
- A clean and prepared kitchen, main hall, and dining area
- Access to tables and chairs
Responsibilities of the Hirer (Embassy)
The hirer must:
- Pack away all tables and chairs after the event
- Clean the kitchen, main hall, and dining area
- Remove all rubbish from the premises

| February: Fri Sat Sun 20, 21, 22, 27 and 28. | March: Fri Sat Sun Mon (public hol) 1, 6, 7, 8 and 9 (CBR Day) 13, 14 and 15. |
